Description
In Group Policy Restore Wizard on the step where a target domain controller should be selected after pressing Next the following error message appears
"The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist"
The error is the same for any DC

Cause
Lack of permissions.

Resolution
Make sure that the user account under which the restore is performed has rights to the GPO's folder on the DC (C:\Windows\SYSVOL\domain\Policies\{GUID}).
