Can one automate procedure of importing data from PST files into Archive Manager using Recovery Manager for Exchange? (4247181)

STATUS

Currently the PST Import wizard provided in the RME GUI does not allow to directly import data from PST files into Archive Manager. Change Request 105473600 has been raised for this feature to be added in a future release of Recovery Manager for Exchange (AM edition).

WORKAROUND

PST files can be registered as source storage in RME and then choose to restore from each of them into the corresponding mailbox in AM. This however is not an automated process. Using some scripting with RME Management Shell cmdlets an automated process can be achieved to reach this goal until the Change Request is implemented.
