Tests Failing with "Unexpected Errors" There were no valid targets for the test.

This can be caused if the credentials running the spotlight services, are no longer valid, or if the password for the account is expired, and the services have not yet restarted. The Services are no longer able to read the test targets from the Spotlight Managment Framework database.

WorkAround:

1. Reset the password for the Spotlight On Messaging Service Account.
2. Open the Service.msc console on the Spotlight On Messaging Server
3. In the properties for each of the Spotlight On Messaging Services (Spotlight Distributed Collector and Spotlight Diagnostic Test Engine) Modify the Logon Credentials to use the updated password
4. Restart the Spotlight on Messaging services.
