When using the Online Restore Wizard with a backup take from a Windows Sever 2016 DC, the following error may occur at the Backup Data Preparation step:
"Failed to connect to the extracted database: Error occurred while opening database. Details: Version of log file is not compatible with Jet version"
Recovery Manager for AD and Recovery Manager for AD Forest Edition needs to be installed on a server with an OS version the same or higher than the domain controllers that are backed up.
If you are backing up DCs running Windows Server 2016, RMAD(FE) needs to be installed on a server running Windows Server 2016.
