Error: "Failed to install the restore agent. Error description: Failed to create a remote object. (4211139)

When starting the Online Restore Wizard and choosing the Agent restore method, the following error occurs:

"Failed to install the restore agent. Error description: Failed to create a remote object.The RPC server is unavailable."

This issue may occur if there is a problem with the registry key that controls Distributed COM (DCOM) services. This problem may exist even if the registry key appears to be set correctly.

To resolve this issue, manually configure the registry key, and then restart your computer.

Follow the below steps:

1. Open Regedit, then locate and double-click on the following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\OLE\EnableDCOM

2. Type Y in the Value box, and then click OK.

3. Restart the computer.
