Linux VM's are not quiescing properly.
To enable quiescing in your Linux VM, we recommend that the latest version of VMware tools be installed on the guest.
Also you will need to create a freeze script and set the proper permissions on the file. The freeze script should be named and located here: /usr/sbin/pre-freeze-script.
The contents of the script will vary depending on what you are trying to quiesce.
Within the vRanger backup/replication task enable Guest Quiescing. This will trigger the use of VMware tools to call upon the freeze script.
Also note that if the script takes a long period of time to run, you may need to adjust timeout values within vRanger.
