Can I do a File Level Restore to a destination other than the vRanger server?
The File Level Restore defaults to the vRanger server as destination. There are reasons why this might not be ideal or desired (vRanger server does not have enough space to accommodate the files to be restored, etc…)
Type the FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name) of the desired target in the input box at the top of the destination section.
Provide the login credentials for the target.
Now right click on the FQDN (which should now be displayed in destination locations, choose Explore and then provide credentials again if prompted.
Note: You will only be able to see/use folder on the destination that has been shared to Everyone/All.
