Error: FATAL cant_write_detail can't write cifs… "(Success) (at handle_error:73)" (4046574)

Getting Error : FATAL cant_write_detail can't write cifs… (Success) (at handle_error:73).This could be a result of a corrupt bin being downloaded or used during backup cycle.

Please putty into ESX Host while no backups are running and delete Ranger tmp directory.

To do this:

Putty to Host as root

Issue command: cd /tmp

Issue command: ls –lah (to display all the files within that directory)

You should see .vzbin

Issue command: rm -rf .vzbin

“Will force a new bin download to occur and next job run”.

Restart all three vRanger services:

vRanger Pro
vRanger API

vRanger FLR'

Rerunjob.
