Description

When attempting to run a vRanger 5.4/5.5 backup job it fails with "3201 - can't open [Datastore] VM/VM.vmdk" Error Message
VA based transport is used for this job
Cause

vRanger VA DNS resolution is not properly
Resolution

Configure VA DNS resolution by adding VC and ESX host entries onto /etc/hosts file or add DNS ip addresses to /etc/resolv.conf
