Excessive bandwidth usage (4044465)

When doing LAN-based backups, vRanger pushes a lot of data through the network very quickly. While this performance is good for minimizing your backup window, if not configured properly it can degrade your production network.

There are two ways to resolve this issue:

1. Separate the backup traffic from the production network by configuring a dedicated backup network.
2. Switch to LAN-free backups (i.e. over Fiber or iSCSI) if possible.
