Integration process of vRanger 7.x version with Recovery Manager for Exchange (RME) 5.7.1
Since RME 5.7.1 release, it can be downloaded for free along with vRanger.
In order to have a successful extraction and registration of an Exchange Server through RME, ensure that following is met:
- RME 5.7.1 and vRanger are installed on the same computer.
- Ensure that PowerShell execution policy on that computer allows the execution of remotesigned
scripts.
- Microsoft Outlook 2003 or newer is installed on the same machine
- vRanger Console is started at least once on the computer where Recovery
Manager for Exchange and vRanger are installed.
- Prior to running the backup in vRanger, check that the Exchange server is configured as in this part of the documentation Guidelines for working with vRanger
