Backup of Hyper-V VM's from one host failing with: "VSSUTIL_UNEXPECTED_PROVIDER_ERROR" -
Description
It is observed that a backup of VM's located on one Hyper-V host are failing with: "VSSUTIL_UNEXPECTED_PROVIDER_ERROR"
VM's that are located on a different Hyper-V host are backing up successfully.

Cause
Analysis of the "vssadmin list providers" shows that an additional Hardware Provider is present on the failing Hyper-V host. -
Resolution
Remove the additional Hardware Provider from the Hyper-V host.
