Not all disks are selected but vRanger is taking entire VM snapshot instead of those disks being backup only
Description

Only backing up few number of disks of the VM. ex. out of 5 disks, 3 are only selected in vRanger for backup. vRanger seems to be backing up the entire VM.
Cause

vRanger is not backing up the whole VM. It is the snapshot that's created for the entire VM hence, failing the job with the below error when the datastore does not have enough space for the entire VM snapshot.
Error Message: Host does not contain enough free space
Resolution

vRanger uses VMware calls to take a snapshot of a virtual machine and vmware creates a snapshot file for each disk as stated here:

VMware does offer a way to exclude disks from snapshots this is done by placing the disks in independent mode.

The disks will still need to be excluded in the backup job to be properly skipped.
