When attempting to mount RP from the archive, the following error message is shown: "Failed to mount volume images. Error message: Core service cannot be reached. Please check the network connection and if the service is running."
The network connection is fine and services are running. Core console, Settings, Replay Engine is set to a proper IP address.
To resolve the issue, first verify to which IP address Core hostname is resolving:
- open CMD
- ping <Core_server_name> -4
If name is resolving to the disconnected NIC, then please disable it, then run nbtstat -RR in CMD window and ping Core by name again. Make sure that name is resolving to the same IP address, that is specified in Replay Engine in Core Settings.
Mount RP again to verify that issue has been resolved.
