After upgrade to Rapid Recovery Replication fails with "Placeholder mismatch with format string" (4040568)

After upgrade to Rapid Recovery Replications fail with the following error 

"ERROR 2016-05-11T11:20:15 [8025] - Replay.Core.Implementation.Replication.SeedDrive.SeedDriveService ()

Seed drives synchronization failed

Replay.Core.Contracts.Replication.SeedDrive.SeedDrivesSynchronizationException depth 0: Placeholder mismatch with format string [The {0} '{1}' is already replicated from another {2}] and arguments [CORENAME, Core]

Failed to synchronize the lists of consumed and outstanding seed drives (0x80131500) ---> WCFClientBase.ClientServerErrorException depth 1: Call to service method https://CORENAME:8006/apprecovery/api/core/replicationcomms/consumedSeedDrives/12345678-1234-1234-1234-1234567890ab GET failed: Placeholder mismatch with format string [The {0} '{1}' is already replicated from another {2}] and arguments [CORENAME, Core] (0x80131500) ---> Replay.Common.Contracts.ReplayException depth 2: Placeholder mismatch with format string [The {0} '{1}' is already replicated from another {2}] and arguments [CORENAME, Core] (0x80131500)"

An in-place upgrade from AppAssure to Rapid Recovery was not performed.  The AppAssure core software was removed from the OS and the configuration settings were left in place.  Rapid Recovery was then installed. 

1. Stop the core service on the Target Replication Core

2. Open the registry and navigate to the following path of the agents that fail to replicate.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ AppRecovery \ Core \ Agents \ Agent_ID \ ReplicationService \ RemoteCoreSummaryInfo

3. In this key, you should see an entry called "Version" that is empty and remove the string value.

4. Restart the core service force replication for this agent.
