When doing a File Level Restore (FLR) of a Linux server, we receive the message:
"Timed out waiting for stream pattern"
The server is a Linux with more than 1 disk attached. Logical Volume Management (LVM) is enabled and used.
Either the Job does not include all the disks or the disks are split in between different Jobs.
Currently, we only support LVM volumes of one physical disk.
Supported File Systems can be reviewed on our Support site.
Please select Technical Documentation. | Select the product version of interest. | Installation Guide. | System requirements and compatibility. | Supported platforms. | Supported file systems.
We can FLR LVM volumes but only when we have protected all the disks, if any of the disks (vmdk files) is missing, the mount will fail.
