Transfer failed with "TevoQueryVolume failed with error 0x80070001" (4039991)

Trying to protect a new server or get snapshots and get the following errors:

'Call to service method <URL> POST failed: TevoDisableVolumeLogging failed with error -2147024895 (0x80070001 - Incorrect function)' TevoDisableVolumeLogging failed with error -2147024895 (0x80070001 - Incorrect function)

ERROR <date and time> - Replay.Agent.NativeWrapper.Drivers.DriverApi (RequestUri=<URL> ClientAddress=<IP> Service=Replay.Agent.Management.Metadata.AgentMetadataManagement Method=GetCurrentSummary)
TevoQueryVolume failed with error 0x80070001

To resolve the issue, please perform the following:

1. Investigate where User Profile Disks are stored
2. On the Core server, in the agent's summary, remove the protection schedule from all disks, then reapply protection schedule, selecting physical disks and partitions (SRP, C, D, etc) only
3. Please make sure that User Profile Disks (like c:\users\<username>) are not included
4. Perform a snapshot to make sure that transfer is working
5. If the backups are still failing, repair the agent installation and reboot the agent machine.
6. Retry snapshot.
