Description
The backup of one or some VM's fails with the error message:
"API call failed with the error message: the object was deleted or not created"

Cause
Open snapshots or phantom snapshots on the failing VM's causing them to fail.

Resolution
1) Take a manual snapshot in vCenter of this VM (without memory)
2) See if the snapshot completes successfully or not.
3) If able to take snapshot, go to snapshot manager and consolidate. (delete all)
4) Attempt another backup of this VM.

Original error was in german: "API Call failed with message: Das Objekt wurde bereits gelöscht oder noch nicht vollständig erstellt"
