vRanger Physical Backup: Error Message: Failed to create VSS snapshot on the target machine (4035824)

vRanger Physical backup fails with the following error message:

Error Message: Failed to create VSS snapshot on the target machine (P_VSSUTIL_WRITER_PART_OF_VOLUMES).

Unsupported filesystem volume for VSS such as FAT32 or existing VSS snapshots on the computer

Check Disk Management for FAT/FAT32 formatted volumes on the disk and if possible, convert the volume filesystem to NTFS.

Check to see if there are any running VSS snapshots on the computer and remove them if possible.

1.  Open a CMD prompt
2.  Run the command:  'vssadmin list shadows'   (This command will list any running VSS snapshots.)

3.  To delete the VSS snapshots, run the command:  'vssadmin delete shadows /all'
