LocalMountUtility fails with flat name of target computer could not be retrieved (2138)
Description
Core or Local Mount Utility throws error: "Flat name of target computer could not be retrieved (2138)"
Cause
There is an attempt to access the core via an IP that is not accessible by the core or LMU. This may occur in multi-homed environments where the core is assigned an IP in its configuration that is not accessible by all clients.
Resolution
On the core, go to the Configuration tab | Settings | Replay Engine Configuration. Make sure that the IP displayed is accessible to the agent/LMU that is trying to access the core. If not, change the IP to one that is. .
