LMU fails to mount recovery with "The current OS does not support deduplication"
Description
Mounting a recovery point of an agent with Windows Data Deduplication enabled fails to mount using LMU 6.1.0.645 on a core or agent. This happens even though the OS the LMU is running on has Windows Data Deduplication enabled.
Error example:
Volume cannot be mounted due to error:
"Deduplication is enabled for volume(s) 'G:\'. Mount operation cannot be performed because of one of the following:
- The current OS does not support deduplication
- The deduplication is enabled on source with Windows Server 2012 R2 and current environment is using Windows Server 2012"
Cause

This has been identified as defect RR-101472 specific to LMU 6.1.0.645 and 6.1.1.137.
Resolution

This issue is resolved starting with Rapid Recovery 6.1.2. Please upgrade your Core and Local Mount Utility (LMU) to the latest version of Rapid Recovery.
