Core Server BSOD's with BugCheck 0x00000018 (4033749)

System Error Event ID 1001:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck.  The bugcheck was: 0x00000018 (0x0000000000000000, 0xfffffa80dd757780, 0x0000000000000010, 0xfffffa8065a8c201). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 122613-16567-01.

Solution 1 - Hotfix for Server 2012 and 2012 R2

1. Stop Core Service How To Stop or restart the Core Service (4034348) (quest.com)

1. Apply Hotfix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2973052. Prerequisites as listed on KB and a reboot is required
2. Start Core Service and resume jobs

Solution 2 - Disable Automatic Checks

1. This is a temporary work around until the hotfix is applied
2. Disable Mountability, Checksum, and Attachability Checks for all Agents through the Agent Summary Tab
3. The core will remain stable until Microsoft releases it's Hotfix
4. You can safely run manual Mountability, Checksum, and Attachability Checks
