Restore fails with "Error 3201 - can't open [datastore]" -
Description
When vRanger is installed on Windows 2003, vRanger cannot restore a VM when the "Restore As" VM name is sufficiently long as to allow the path to the new VMDK to exceed 256 characters. The task will fail with the error "3201 - can't open [<datastore>]"

Cause
This is a product defect. Waiting for fix in a future release of vRanger. -
Resolution
Workaround:
If this error is observed, use a VM name short enough to allow the total path to the VMDK to be less than 256 characters -
