This article will cover how soon after a patch is released from the vendor will it be available for download on the KACE Systems Management Appliance (SMA) appliance and KACE Cloud.
Starting with version 10.0, we have replaced the former patch feed with the new KACE Patch Catalog.
Changing the way the KACE SMA patch catalog is updated and maintained will provide distinct advantages to you. Patches will be available to you faster than the method used prior to SMA v10.0. The KACE Patch Catalog also includes more publisher/products than the current patch catalog. These product changes will make it easier for you to manage your patches by providing timelier patch availability, patch application and a wider catalog of patches to choose from than ever before.
For Macintosh-platform and other Windows-vendor patches, our target is to release these patches to customers coinciding with the following timelines.
Note: Patching solutions utilize QA testing on patches prior to release. Should a patch fail any tests or cannot be encoded or downloaded in a timely fashion, the following targets will not apply.
