Starting in version 12.0 of the KACE Systems Management Appliance, the ability to change the name of the admin user has been added.
If your environment includes multiple appliances, you can simplify and speed up periodic administrative changes to comply with your security policies. The name of the default admin account can be easily changed, however use caution when changing the login and password of the admin account. The admin account login names and password on all linked appliances and organizations must be the same if you want to switch between them using the drop-down list in the top-right corner.
1. Go to the KACE SMA AdminUI
2. Navigate to Settings | Users
3. Open the "admin" User Detail
4. Modify the 'admin' Login user name
5. Click Save
The updated login username for the 'admin' user should be shown.

3. Open the "admin" Administrator Detail
4. Modify the 'admin' Login user name
5. Click Save
The updated login username for the 'admin' user should be shown.
