When using the Infoblox DHCP service, do not use DHCP options (e.g. option 66/67), use BOOTP options instead.
Note: You may still leverage DHCP option 244 as that is not used during the PXE boot process. It is only used after you are booted into KBE to determine the IP address of the SDA/RSA to map the shares.
The required fields are located under BOOTP or IPv4 BOOTP/PXE within your network scope
There are 3 fields:
For UEFI PXE booting, you must configure the Boot File as ipxe.efi
For Legacy/BIOS PXE booting with iPXE, you must configure the Boot File as undionly.kpxe
The Next Server and Boot Server fields will both point to the IP address (NOT hostname or FQDN) of the SDA or RSA in question.
Additionally, you may create a custom DHCP option 244 if you are having issues with mapping to the shares within KBE.
4. Save the configuration.
You will need to add the custom option to your network scope, and configure the value of KACE SDA Option 244 as the IP address (NOT hostname or FQDN) of the SDA or RSA in question.
