You may be a new customer to KACE and require the OVF file to set up your Virtual Appliance or an existing customer that may need to rebuild the KACE appliance VM for one reason or another.
This article list the steps to take to locate the OVF file to download via the Support portal.
To download the KACE appliance OVF from the Support portal, follow these steps:
1. Log into the Support Portal by going to https://support.quest.com/ and log in. Click Download Software.
2. Type in your product (example KACE). This will bring up the list of KACE appliance products available.
3. Based on your selection, files will appear.
Example: for KACE SMA Appliances, the OVF is under Virtual Appliance in Download Software:
4. Click on the Download icon and the file will download.

Note: there are only supported versions avaiable to download. If you need an older version for restoring an older version contact support
Note: the files have different sizes. There is no difference between these versions except the size of the avaiable space. A 1TB appliance provides 1TB over all and needs 1TB of storage space while a 3TB utilizes 3TB storage space and provides 3TB. There is no other difference.
