The issue can be reproduced for the following two scenarios:
Configured Virtual Standy jobs will fail with the "Access Denied" error.
When trying to add a virtual standby job, it will fail with an "Access denied" error after clicking the "Next" button in the "VM Options" section of the wizard.
The Virtual standbys were configured using a Local admin for the Hyper-V host and as well with a domain admin account.
Exports were falling to be forwarded to other Hyper-V host.
Exports will succeed when attempting to perform it locally.
原因
Microsoft 365 Defender should be in passive mode when an antivirus is installed but instead is active, will block conhost.exe, cmd.exe, and hypervagent.exe called by wmiprvse.exe on the Hyper-V host. In Microsoft, 365 Defender Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) rules these items are blocked.
対策
Exception in Group Policy is required to be set to allow the following files to be targeted by wmiprvse.exe on the Hyper-V host.
