Protect cluster for SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups or Exchange Database Availability Group (DAG)
説明
After protect cluster for SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups or Exchange Database Availability Group (DAG), it is noticed that no volumes are showing up in the cluster node. The volumes are only showing up in the individual nodes.
原因
It is due to the SQL AlwaysOn Availability Groups or Exchange Database Availability Group (DAG) do not have any shared volumes (Cluster Shared Volume CSV) or failover cluster volumes. The volumes are only local to each individual node.
対策
In this case, protect cluster is only useful for grouping purposes. The snapshots will still run fine on the volumes on each individual nodes.
