How to manage Toad offline devices without internet access? (4378950)

With the new Toad Subscription licensing model, users are recommended to login online to use the application. User may have (on or more) machines without internet access - offline devices and require to obtain a license file. How do license user and administrators can generate and manage offline license file?

From the offline machine, obtain the Device Activation Code file and use the license portal to generate new or manage existing offline licenses. Watch the tutorial video.

1. Login to license portal as the license administrator
2. Locate the license under Personal licenses or your Organization group name
3. Navigate to the Setting tab and under General section, enable Offline setting
4. Go to the Seats tab, and locate the account who is offline and need to use the product. Click the the three dots to the right of the account and click Manage Offline Device option
5. Provide a device a name and import the Device Activation file
6. Generate the offline license file and share with the end-user to import to the product

Note: Each seat has a maximum of 3 devices. Each license file is specific to the device. If a device is lost or is otherwise inaccessible, please contact support.
