Connect to the Oracle | Object Explorer | DB Links section | use the “Create a Database Link” icon | the “Show Script” and “Execute” buttons are hidden or does not show. The window size will need to be adjusted (or maximized / minimized) in order for the buttons to appear.
NOTE:
Once the window size is adjusted, the problem goes away, however if the Toad user files or app data folder is renamed, the problem will happen again.
WORKAROUND:
Manually adjust the “Create a Database Link” window size and the buttons will appear.
STATUS:
Waiting for fix in a future release of Toad for Oracle.
