How to replicate a recovery points only backup chain from source to target core -

There are agents listed in Recovery Points Only section and that data need to be replicated to the target Core. It's not possible to select those agents by adding machines to the outgoing replication link. -

While it's not possible to add agents from RP_only section to the replication link, there are various methods to get the data across.
1) This simple method require a separate storage to achieve that. Just archive necessary data to the temporary storage device (external disk, NAS, etc), then import that archive on the target Core.
2) This method is trickier, but does not require an additional interim storage. To do that, we need any machine, even a VM, that is currently not protected by this Core. Here are steps:
- click on agent in RP_only section and write down its GUID in browser's address bar. The GUID is a long hexadecimal string, separated by dashes. For example: 14edd4e2-0f96-42b9-8b32-2cc6be9d2257
- install agent on the temp machine. Stop the agent service and change it's value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AppRecovery\Agent\AgentId\Id to the saved GUID. Start the agent service back
- protect that machine from the Core console and pause the protection immediately.
This will link the protected temp machine to the existing RP chain. Now machine can be added to the outgoing replication link and replicate normally. Once replication is done, protection can be removed and agent software can be uninstalled from it.
