Occasionally information regarding what licensing information actually seen by your NetVault Server can help troubleshoot why licensing errors are being generated or why new devices cannot be added to NetVault reporting that the licensed capacity for that device will be exceeded. The Usage tab provides such information that can be extremely helpful in dertermining if all licenses that customers own were added successfully to their NetVault Server.
-- On the NetVault Server, open the NetVault GUI
-- Click on the Administration link at the top of the GUI, then choose Domain Management
-- Under the left-side list of Controlled Servers, right-click on your NetVault Server and choose "Properties"
-- On the Server Properties window, click on the "Usage" tab
-- Displayed on the Usage tab, you will see the various licenses currently registered on your NetVault Server
-- Also shown is the "Licensed" capacity for each component and the quantity currently "Used"
