Occasionally, a Support Engineer might request an increase in the log level for Notes Migrator for Exchange [NME] to facilitate debug logging.
This can be done in two ways:
1) Using the NME GUI
Select the Shared Directories section.
Choose Verbose and then Apply.
2) Manually Edit the Global Defaults configuration file.
Click on Edit/Global Default Settings
Once the file has been opened, locate the line "LogLevel"
Change the value from 2 to 5
Save and close the file.
Once the logs have been gathered for submittal as requested, the log level should be reverted to Normal / 2 as this adds a processing overhead as well as consumes more disk space and is not required for normal operations.
