What information is contained in Toad.pdl file and does it need to be created just once and distributed to all Toad users?
By default, when Toad is installed, an unrestricted toad.pdl is installed in the 'Toad for Oracle' folder. If Toad Group Policy is implemented by an administrator, this file is replaced by a new toad.pdl which contains a flag to determine if restrictions are required or not, the IP address (or computer name) of the Toad Group Policy server, and the port of the server. As long as the Policy server and port details are the same then it just needs to be pushed out once to each Toad instance where restrictions are required.
