When setting up Toad to integrate with Subversion, the following error is displayed after entering the server details and clicking 'Next':
"svn: E175002: Unable to connect to a repository at URL 'servername/svn/repositoryname'
svn: E175002: OPTIONS of 'https://servername/svn/repositoryname': Server certificate verification failed: Issuer is not trusted -
Causa
Not a Toad issue. SVN server is refusing connection. -
Risoluzione
From the Windows cmd line:
cd to folder where svn.exe is located
type 'svn list https://servername/svn/repositoryname/'
The following error will display:
Error validating server certificate for 'https://servername:portnumber'
...(R)eject, accept (t)emporarily or accept (p)ermanently?
Type 'p' to accept permanently and return
Go back to Toad and setup subversion again.
