Is there a MessageStats report that shows the servers and applications that connect to an Exchange server to send SMTP mail?
Enabling SMTP logging allows data about SMTP clients and applications to be gathered, but how can you report on this data?
MessageStats currently has no reporting function to help interpret the SMTP data in the log files.
Currently, MessageStats has insertable report fields that can be used to build reports about the amount of SMTP messages. But, there are no fields that show the SMTP clients and applications that create the messages.
STATUS
Enhancement request TF00059082 has been submitted to development for consideration in a future release of MessageStats to better handle and support SMTP data.
