It may be noted that certain devices are missing details, fields, or complete sections from the Device Detail page. When creating Asset Subtypes, it is possible to choose to completely hide specific sections. This could cause confusion if certain like devices did not have the same details.
For example, if you had Dell branded devices and one had the Dell Updates section and another did not, it may not be because it is not recognized as the proper model, but instead because of the asset subtype.
