Spotlight database objects have been installed in the wrong place and need to be removed. How can I remove Spotlight objects from the database?
Spotlight provides a script to drop all objects for Spotlight. This script is attached and it can be found in the following folder on a default installation:
C:\Quest Software\Quest Central\Spotlight\Plug-ins\SoSS\DropSpotlightObjects.sql
Running this script will delete all objects created by Spotlight. To reinstall, simply connect to the correct database and Spotlight will recreate the objects in the correct database.
