How to add an Event ID to be monitored
From the Spotlight on Messaging Management Console:
1. Expand Tests
2. Right click the Exchange Health Test that is currently used to monitor Event Logs and select Edit
3. Select the version of Exchange you are monitoring
4. In the right hand pane scroll down to the Event Log category
5. Click Add Event Log Entries
6. Select the Event Log type from the drop down menu
7. Enter the Source (use * to specify a wild card
8. Enter the specific event ID or range (for example 100, 200-300, * for all, 1004:Error, 1005:!Successful
9. Click OK
10. Click Finish
