When attempting to add a Virtual Center to vRanger inventory, fails with the following error:
Error Message: "The Remote server returned an error: (407) proxy authentication required"

Causa
A possible cause of this error is that the VMware VirtualCenter Service has not started.

Risoluzione
Ensure that the VMware VirtualCenter Server and VMware Infrastructure Web Access are started before adding the VC to vRanger.

Informazioni aggiuntive
Another possible cause is that the vRanger Server has a proxy set up on it. In Internet Explorer,check your LAN settings for a proxy server, Tools | Internet Options| Connections | LAN settings, uncheck proxy.
