When upgrading NetVault server from version 10.0.0.5 to 12.2.0.18 on Linux Centos 7.5 the following error is seen:

Error: There has been an error.
Setup has detected an existing installation of NetVault Backup, but failed to
determine its diagnostic tracing settings. Please contact Quest Support.
Unable to detect trace folder
1/ Open NetVault configurator on the NetVault server.
2/ Verify where trace directory is configured in general tab. If no entry present, add desired location of trace directory.
3/ Verify directory exists, if not create directory configured in NetVault Configurator.
