Unable to monitor Sybase Backup Server log file -

The Sybase agent is not able to monitor the Sybase backup server log and the following error is seen in the agent log file:
... is not a Sybase Backup Server log file
- AgentErrorMessages: Backup Error Log File does not exist- AgentErrorMessages: Configuration Backup/Server Error Log Path : Non-existing or unreadable file was specified -
Causa
CAUSE 1
Entry did not contain the actual log file name
CAUSE 2
Backup log monitoring is not compatible with remote agents directories and mount points such as C:\ or D:\ on the remote server is different from the local server. Only local monitoring can be used to monitor the error log for MDA and RS agents.

Risoluzione
RESOLUTION 1
Supply the complete directory path including the actual file name when using a local FglAM.
RESOLUTION 2
Monitor the Sybase agent using a local FglAM and agent. Remote backup log monitoring is not supported. This has been logged a known issue SYFOG-100.

For SAP ASE (monitored by Sybase_MDA agent): Backup Server Error Log Path.. For the SAP Replication Server (monitored by Sybase_RS agent): RS error log. There is no configuration for RS error log in the agent properties, the error log names are gotten from the command "admin log_name" in RSInfoProcessor.
