Unable to run any ControlPoint report (4315774)

The error message below is displayed when running any ControlPoint report:

An unanticipated error has occurred. The xcAdmin.log file may contain additional information.

In addition to that, the xcAdmin.log file has an error message similar to the one below:

ERROR :Systemg.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path '\reportcache\18a85fd0cd5a433e8f473ee7384e92c7\dd6a7b5c25ad41eda1d77005ff8fa0bf' is denied.

ControlPoint uses Telerik to display reports and it requires access to a reportcache folder at the root of the C drive.

1. Log in to the ControlPoint server using the ControlPoint service account.
2. On the C drive, right-click the reportcache folder and select Properties.
3. On the Security tab, click Edit.
   
   
    
4. Click Add, select the "Everyone" group, and then click OK.
   
   
    
5. Check the box that will allow "Write" permissions to the group, and then click OK to close all the windows.
