Domain Groups Removed from Target SharePoint When Copying with Content Matrix File Share Edition (4380448)

Users report that domain groups are unexpectedly removed from the target SharePoint site when copying content using Content Matrix File Share Edition. This occurs even when the "copy permissions" option is disabled.

This behavior is caused by a defect in the import pipeline used during the copy process.

The issue has been isolated to the import pipeline. The product team has provided an updated version of Metalogix.File.dll which resolves the problem. This fix is scheduled to be included in the upcoming Content Matrix update version 9.12.
