Unable to connect to Archive Database, Archive database access permissions (4361635)

Using the Client, setup a Database Direct connect. When setting up the connection, the test is successful, but when  attempting to connect the client shows: "There was an error connecting to the Change Auditor Database" 

Opening the Client Log, shows the following 2 errors:

Timestamp,Level,Message

"6/30/2021 11:30:16 AM","Error","Insufficient permissions to run application. Exiting..."

then:

Timestamp,Level,Message

"6/30/2021 11:30:16 AM","Error","There was an error connecting to the ChangeAuditor database. The connection could not be opened."

Lack of permissions to read from the database

DB DataReader role is not enough 

Grant the user either the "ChangeAuditor_Administrators" or "ChangeAuditor_Operators" database role.
