Descrizione

When trying to open ApexSQL 2022 version products, an "Internet connection is required to continue" message comes up.
Causa

ApexSQL 2022 and later versions of the tool do an internet connection verification process by pinging id.quest.com
And needs to reach https://licensing.ism.quest.com to validate the license.
If there are firewall rules that prevent the system to reach these sites, the tool will not work.
Risoluzione

Enable ping to both https://licensing.ism.quest.com and id.quest.com and traffic to port 443 and 80 as well.

Note: The use of ping will be replaced by opening a TCP connection in a future version of the tools.
