When attempting a restore from savepoint or restore from manifest the restore fails with:
"Error Message: 2630 - can't find uuid" {uuid of savepoint being restored}"
A possible cause of this is that the repository name is not entered into DNS or the hostfile of the ESX host.
Because of this, the ESX host can not find the repository and thus, the savepoint.
There are 2 solutions to this:
1. Enter the repository by IP to vRanger
OR
2. Enter the name of the repository server into DNS or edit the hostfile of the ESX host to incorporate the repository name.
To do this, navigate to /etc/hosts on the ESX host
Using VI editor, include the IP and name and FQDN of the Repository Server
