Spotlight on SQL Azure Home Page

The Spotlight on SQL Azure home page provides a quick and intuitive view of the activity of a SQL Azure database.

To see the Spotlight Home Page

1. Select a Spotlight on SQL Azure connection from the Spotlight browser.

2. Click Monitor | home.

   

To see a description of each item on the home page, hover the mouse over a statistic until the description is displayed.

Notes:

• If the Spotlight Diagnostic Server is unable to collect the data required for the home page or drilldowns, Spotlight displays a small icon on the affected component, chart or grid. Click the icon to see more information about the problem.
• When in Playback (Playback (page 1)), history will not be displayed for SQL Azure database information.
