The Alarm Log displays a table of logged alarms for your defined Spotlight connections. Alarms can be filtered by connection or severity.
To see the alarm log

Time |
Time at which the alarm was raised or canceled. |

Connection |
The connection the alarm was raised on. |
|
Connection Type |
Type of Spotlight connection that raised the alarm (for example, Spotlight on SQL Server). This column is hidden by default. |

Details |
A brief description of the cause of the alarm. |
|
Severity |
The degree of urgency of the alarm. The color used depends on the severity of the alarm. See "Alarm Severity and Color Scheme" (page 1) for more information. |

Alarm |
Name of the alarm. |
| Snoozed By | The user who requested the alarm be snoozed. |
| Snoozed Until | The time the alarm is snoozed until. See "Snooze Alarms" (page 1) for more information. |
| Acknowledged by | The login name of the user who acknowledged the alarm. |
| Acknowledgement Comment |
The comment entered by the user when they acknowledged the alarm. Note: When the user acknowledges the alarm they are given the opportunity to (optionally) enter a comment. An alarm can be acknowledged from Spotlight Today (page 1) or Spotlight Home Pages (page 1). |

Right click on an alarm and select What's This? (page 1) for details regarding the alarm.
You can sort the columns in the grid. See "Sort the Grid" (page 1) for more information.
Some of the columns in the grid may be hidden by default. Use the Column Organizer to select the columns you want to see. See "Show, Hide & Order Columns" (page 1) for more information.
The alarm log can be saved to a file or the clipboard. See "Save to File" (page 1) for more information.
Some actions are disabled until an alarm is selected.

If an alarm has been raised then What's This? provides assistance in resolving the alarm. Right click on the alarm in the Alarm Log and select What's This?.
